Color Blocked Art Party

I’m thrilled to bring you this Color Blocked Art Party that I styled for my daughter’s birthday where we transformed Michelle Ferraro’s Dance USA into an art studio! I stepped out of the box this time by mixing and matching colors/patterns. I love the color block trend that we’ve been seeing in fashion so I thought I’d carry it over to the dessert table! To keep it from getting too out of control, I worked with four main colors- Hot Pink, Aqua, Orange, and Yellow. I placed art inspired sweets on easels, paint dishes, and paint buckets. The “paintbrushes” from Crafts by Rosa were used not only as props, but favor boxes as well!

The Sweet Adventures of Sugar Belle perfectly air brushed paint chip sugar cookies

These tie-dye cake pops from NY Cake Pops topped off with striped paper straws from The TomKat Studio were AMAZING!

Sweeties by Kim whipped up a special order of pretty Glittered Chocolate Cover Oreo’s!

Arts & Crafts station with 36 in. Round Balloons from TomKat Studio and Balloon Fringe/Tassel garland from  The Flair Exchange.  Colorful custom made mini smocks from Sook Ee Designs (used as chair covers), and framed paper place mats designed by Bonito Design. All of the art supplies were provided by  Martha Stewart Crafts Dept . Kraft boxes, Push Pops, Small Kraft Gable Boxes, Clear Gusset bags with inserts were provided by Garnish.
